Tudor outdoor kitchens borrow the house's beams. Look for a dark timber-framed pavilion with a slate or shingle roof, a brick or stone counter base with limestone tops, a hooded grill or fireplace in the gable end, leaded-glass lanterns and a herringbone brick floor. Keep the appliances recessed so the timber and brick read first.
